Defensive Shotgun I
Course Description: An overview of the basics of defensive shotgunning.
Topics: shotgun patterning, ammunition selection, shooting positions, shooting from behind cover, shooting at multiple targets, use of the shotgun for home defense, shotgun malfunction drills and generally developing proficiency with the shotgun under stress.

Prerequisites: previous shotgun shooting experience preferred but not essential
Required Equipment: You will need a shotgun (pump or semiauto, 12 Ga or 20 Ga, sling recommended), 50 rounds birdshot (#6-8 shot size), 15 rds buckshot (8 pellet Federal Flite Control 00 preferred), 5 slugs
