Workshop Presenters:

Austin attorney Paul T. Martin has published two books on preparedness--Pivot Points: Creating a Culture of Preparedness and Resiliency In America (2015) and Bracing for Impact: A Practical Guide for Preparing for Disaster (2011).  He is a frequent presenter on various preparedness topics.  Paul lives in Austin and works in government relations for a property and casualty insurance trade association.  He currently serves on The Webb School Board of Trustees and as a commissioner on the Austin Animal Advisory Commission.  

Onion Creek resident Jennifer Cawley is also an attorney and executive director of a life and health insurance trade association.  She has recently become interested in disaster preparedness and the importance of neighbors helping neighbors in a time of crisis.  Jennifer serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the UT Wesley Foundation and on the Development Committee for El Buen Samaritano, an Episcopal Mission.
